A Headlining Role!

Watkins gets top billing in the film, The Last Three Days, in which his undercover cop character, Jack, has to contend with circumstances beyond his control. Not only are he and his wife, Beth, (Deborah Lee Smith) a nurse, growing distant from each other, but Jack is in the middle of investigating a criminal L.A. enterprise involving a lethal drug.

Things take a dire turn when Jack can’t remember recent events and two important people in his life –his wife and his police partner–are nowhere to be found. The intrigue builds from there. Watkins is clearly pumped for the role. He told TellTaleTV, “I’m a cop in the movie. I get to do my own stunts, and shoot guns, and do hand to hand combat. It’s just a really different type of role for me.” He described it as a movie in the vein of Memento and The Butterfly Effect.
