The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 16th, tease that the corporate intrigue and personal zaniness are going strong for several Genoa City residents.

A New Outside Helper

At the GCAC, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Benjamin (Ben Hermes) are having a bite to eat. Victoria is all smiles when she tells Benjamin something quite intriguing.

“I’m willing to entertain the idea of you helping Brash and Sassy,” she says.

Benjamin looks rather pleased, although “willing to entertain” is not exactly “offering you a job.” Now, last time Brash hired a relative unknown to aid their burgeoning business, Juliet (Laur Allen), it didn’t turn out so well. Will this one, dear Soap Cities readers, do you think?

Finders, Keepers

Sharon (Sharon Case) comes upon the tail end of Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) heart-t0-heart chat. She tells them, with a happy excitement, that Scott (Daniel Hall) is on a mission to help Crystal “right now.”

Don’t Miss: Readers voiced their opposition to a Tessa/Mariah pairing, though we disagreed.

Mariah’s head whips over to look at Tessa, who looks totally taken by surprise and panicked!

Not You Again!

At the Brash and Sassy offices, Billy (Jason Thompson) is seated at his desk, looking frustrated and at his wit’s end. He flings a bunch of papers about, and as they cascade to the floor, who should walk in but Victor (Eric Braeden).

Billy’s reaction at seeing him can only be described as, “Oy! Not this guy again!”
