The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 18th, predict that the drama just keeps twisting and turning on its way into fabulously unpredictable territory!

Teamwork Doesn’t Always Get the Job Done

In Jack’s (Peter Bergman) office, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) let’s Jack know just what she thinks–and plans to do about–his latest underhanded scheme.

“You and Cane are dying to bring Billy down. Consider me off the team,” Phyllis tells her ex-husband. He looks shocked in response. But should he really be, dear Soap Cities readers?

We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Programming

Those are six words soap fans hate to hear, right? But not in this case.

At the GCAC bar, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Benjamin (Ben Hermes) are having a drink and The Hilary Hour on a wall-mounted TV. They look a combination of amused and intrigued when Hilary (Mishael Morgan) says, “We are interrupting our features, to bring you some late-breaking, exclusive news.”

Don’t Miss: This Y&R fan fave is making a comeback after his recent inexplicable ouster from the show!

Tantalizing Text

At Brash and Sassy, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are hard at work, when Vic receives an urgent text.

Looking at her phone, she tells Billy, “It’s Cane. He says we should turn on The Hilary Hour.

“You can’t miss this,” Victoria continues, reading Cane’s text to Billy.

Must-Read: This Y&R bigwig will also be Head Writer now!

We have a bad feeling about this, don’t you, dear readers? After all, Hilary and her show are involved, and that’s rarely a good thing for anyone except her.
