Camila Banus, a fan fave on Days of Our Lives, had some fascinating things to say about what’s to come for her and the show.

Conflicted Kiss

Banus said that a kiss Gabi and Chad (Billy Flynn) are set to share confuses the character. She has strong feelings for Chad, but also cares about her best friend, Abigail (Marci Miller), the actress noted in an exclusive interview with soaps.com.

Related: Morgan Fairchild to play a legendary Salem character.

“Gabi would love to be with Chad. She would love to kiss him. She would love to have sex with him. She wants all of those things, but this kiss puts her in a very difficult situation,” Banus said.

Head Writer Shake-Up

Though Banus has a good feeling about what incoming head writer Ron Carlivati will bring to the NBC sudser, she shot straight from the hip when she spoke of how TPTB shake-ups affect actors.

Also: This is when new head writer Ron Carlivati’s material will begin to air on Days.

“It’s hard for the actors to be put in these situations where we are supposed to hate the outgoing writers and love the new ones coming in,” Banus said.

Much-Anticipated Returns…One You Didn’t Know About!

The return of a mystery character, who Banus revealed is a male one (EJ?!?!), will set the stage for Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) return.

Banks said that for now Massey’s return is temporary.

Don’t Miss: Alison Sweeney to return as Sami Brady!

“What we’ve been told is that he’s there for a little bit. It’s not a two-episode thing, but I don’t know how long it is. I think people are going to really enjoy his story,” she offered.
