From Troubled Salem-ite to Murderous Paramour

Manis’s film, “Boyfriend Killer,” features her as Kristal Kellers, a young woman potentially implicated her ex-boyfriend’s murder. Mansi posted the trailer to the film to her Instagram account.

Another ex-Days Actor Stars

Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin Reed) co-stars in “Boyfriend Killer.” He and Mansi appeared on Days together from 2011 to 2012.

A Surprising Exit

Mansi’s Abigail Deveraux was not only a legacy character on Days, but beloved by her legion of fans. In the middle of 2016, she announced her plans to exist the role that became synonymous with her name. Later that year, she departed to pursue other projects.

While on Days, she took Abby from wild child to devoted mom. The troubles that beset Abby during Mansi’s final months on the show got the best of Abby, and she was committed to a mental instiution. She recently returned to Salem, with daytime newcomer Marci Miller reprising the role. Abby has reunited with her family, her son, and her beau, Chad (Billy Flynn). However, she her life still requires a lot of repair.

Though Miller has a different look than and take on Abby than Mansi, fans have thus far reacted positively to her portrayal of the integral Days character.
