Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) tells Liam that nothing–and she means nothing–will ever come between them again. Of course, that’s soap opera code for, “Some thing is about to come between us.” Right, dear Soap Cities readers?

Father (Sometimes) Knows Best

Somewhere else, Steffy and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) have their own parent-child bonding talk.

“Well, sometimes you have to almost lose what you care about to see how precious it is,” Ridge notes to his daughter. He’s speaking about his experience with Brooke, but Steffy’s probably thinking how she could come close to losing Liam, and agreeing with the sentiment on those grounds, as well.

The words “Hot Mess” come to mind, right, readers?
