Exciting news for Days and GH fan–Jen Lilley and Ryan Paevey are set to star in an upcoming Hallmark Channel movie together!
Double the Delight When Soaps Collide!
Two soap faves will soon be gracing the small screen together in Harvest Love, a movie for the Hallmark Channel, according to our friends at Soaps In Depth. Lilley (Days ex-Teresa) and Paevey (GH’s Nathan) are teaming up as first time co-stars. But there’s a real-life twist.
“The (movie’s) title changed somewhere between last night and this morning,” Paevey revealed to Soap Hub site at Hallmark’s annual gathering of television critics. Guess fans will just have to wait and be surprised!
Paevey, of course, is already a Hallmark Channel veteran of sorts, having starred in the charming 2016 flick, Unleashing Mr. Darcy.
The GH Connection
Lilley and Paevey have some interesting soap connections! Lilley appeared on GH, prior to Paevey joining it, from September 2011 to August 2012 in the role of Maxie while the character’s usual portrayer, Kirsten Storms, was on leave. She then followed that with her Days role for three years. Lilley is also an accomplished singer, and showed off her impressive pipes on her recent Christmas album, Tinsel Time.
Multitasking!
Paevey’s been quite the busy bee himself lately, with the Hallmark role and, of course his GH duties. His soap taping chores saw him wrap up 80 pages of script prior to filming the movie, and he will be back taping in Port Charles after filming’s done. All of his acting duties leave little down time, so Paevey unfortunately won’t be a presence at the annual GH Fan Club Weekend, to be held August 3-7 in Glendale, California.
