His dad, Fr. Frank Vilasuso, is an anesthesiologist. Vilasuso is one of three siblings–his older brother’s named Javier and younger sister’s Marianne. His mom’s name is Ana.

Soap Vet

Days isn’t his first soap gig, as many daytime fans know. Vilasuso got his start on Guiding Light playing Tony Santos. He also spent time on All My Children playing Griffin Castillo.

Emmy Win

Vilasuso can boast of a Daytime Emmy win for his role as Tony on Guiding Light in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama.

Vilasuso also has also lent his talent to several popular television series. They include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 8 Simple Rules, CSI:Miami, and Numb3rs, to name a few.

Vilasuso is related to actor Andy Garcia by marriage. His cousin, Marivi, is married to Garcia. And, Vilasuso’s wife, actress Kaitlin Riley, is the older sister of actress Bailee Madison.
