Reeves’ friend, Aaron Benward took to Facebook to post pic an caption exclaiming that Reeves is out of the medical woods after a heart-related scare this week. His heart is damage and blockage-free! See Benward’s post below.

A Port Chuck Postponement

Reeves and band mate Steve Burton (ex-Jason Morgan) met up in advance of an appearance by the band they are both in with fellow GH alums, Port Chuck.

Burton took to Twitter yesterday to let fans know that Reeves (ex-Steve Webber) looked uncomfortable and said he was experiencing pain below his sternum. Burton insisted his friend go to the emergency room right then. See Buron’s full Twitter video below.

The Port Chuck engagement was postponed.

A Reminder of What’s Important

Sadly, sometimes it does take a health problem to remind us of what’s important in life, as Burton pointed out in another Tweet below. He reminded followers: “Love one another.”

A Mini-Reeves Report

This soap vet has had numerous roles in daytime, including Jake Hogansen on Days of Our Lives, Ryan McNeil on The Young and the Restless, and he played himself on As the World Turns once.

Two fun facts about him include that he was in Friday the 13th VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan and in a personal favorite of ours here at Soap Cities, the Lifetime Original Movie, Hearts Adrift, costarring All My Children alum Sydney Penny (Julia Santos).

Reeves is married to Days of Our Lives star Melissa Reeves. They have two children, Emily and Lawrence.

They live in Franklin, Tennessee.
