Bold and the Beautiful Goes All Out for Upcoming 30th Anniversary

B&B celebrates its pearl anniversary–that’s three decades on the air–late next month.

The Bold and the Beautiful is pulling out all the stops to make their 30th anniversary on March 23 a truly epic one!

“But for Those Who Love…

…time is eternal.” So wrote William Shakespeare. He couldn’t have known, though, how this line would apply so well to Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)! For LA’s most glamorous bunch loves like no other, and so, they will live on forever, especially in the hearts of fans.

We still have to mark B&B‘s important milestones of maturation though, right Soap Cities readers? And so, the show itself and CBS Daytime are giving fans some neat gifts in commemoration of the show’s upcoming 30th anniversary.

Video Time Capsule

As of tomorrow’s episode, get ready for a trip down B&B memory lane.

The CBS sudser will  be “digging into its video vault and airing a series of ‘time capsule’ scenes at the end of each episode,” reported Soap Opera Digest.

The show culled these scenes from three particularly fabulous seasons of B&B, and they’ll highlight iconic moments from the show’s rich past.

3-2-1-Facebook!

Meanwhile, CBS Daytime is partaking in its own anniversary merriment via Facebook. There, each day, fans can see a blast from the past pic from the show. Along with each pic you can read fun facts about B&B, the most popular soap in the world! See an example below.

B&B debuted on CBS on March 23, 1987. Cheers to all the wacky, lovable, downright glamorous characters we’ve met on B&B over the years and to all the amazing adventures we’ve gone on with them.

And Don’t Forget This

B&B also filmed some special episodes in Australia earlier this month that will serve as part of their 30th anniversary commemoration. We told you this was epic!
