Kristian was born in Brockton, Massachusetts. It’s also the hometown of boxing legend Rocky Marciano.

Skating Sweetheart

Did you know that Kristian is also an accomplished figure skater? She can boast a gold medal courtesy of her participation in the Junior Olympic Figure Skating championships at age 13. She had to give up competitive skating soon after, the result of a leg injury–from tobogganing!

Mediterranean Muse

She is of Italian descent, and her grandparents are from Sicily and Calabria

Kristian began her career with the Wilhelmina modeling agency as a teen. Some of her magazine covers have included Vogue, Glamour, and Bazaar.

She has played Hope since 1983.

Kristian has also made appearances on shows such as Amazing Stories, Murder She Wrote, MacGyver and Falcon Crest–just to name a few!

Kristian considers Days veteran actress, the late Frances Reid (Alice) her acting mentor, as she was new to acting when she started on Days. “She was very patient with me, very giving,” said Alfonso.

Kristian has her own jewelry line, Faith Hope Miracles, which she designs herself and it can be found through her website.

Doting Mom

As if acting and designing weren’t enough to keep her busy, Kristian can also boast the crown jewel in her life–being a mom. She has two sons, Gino and Jack, and stepson Spartan.
