The General Hospital co-head writing team known as Jelly today becomes Shelly.

An Expansive Canvas All to Herself

Friday’s episode may have been Shelly Altman’s first material as a single-handed head writer at the ABC sudser. We at Soap Cities thought the handover was seamless and artfully-done, didn’t you, dear readers?

We have high hopes for Altman’s Port Charles. And we wish Jean Passanante all the best in her future endeavors.

Adieux, Mes Amis!

Passanante tweeted about her swan song day in Port Charles. And thanked her entire cast who are also on Twitter.

What a gracious and thoughtful woman, right?

Cast members past and present congratulated her and wished her well.

“We adore YOU. You are a woman of integrity, heart, and balls. Not necessarily in that order. Go thrive, you gorgeous woman,” said Michelle Stafford.

“All the best, Jean. Your contribution is exceptional,” said Jason Thompson.
