Mario and Gia Lopez, who are set to make General Hospital cameos.

Television Renaissance man Mario Lopez and his daughter, Gia, will add some dimpled fun to the annual, iconic General Hospital event.

Nurses and TV Stars

Lopez took to Instagram to post a video of himself and Gia backstage on the GH set during the taping of the Nurse’s Ball. See that full post below.

Gia, who looks so much like Lopez, said she had one line and talked a lot. She also had a loose tooth!

A Daytime Fan?

We’re starting to wonder if Lopez is a as big a daytime fan as some of you dear Soap Cities readers out there. He recently hosted the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, and now he’s going to be at a classic event on a classic soap! What do you think, readers?

An Actor of Many Thespian Talents

Lopez gained international fame as A.C. Slater on the wholesome Saturday afternoon sitcom, Saved by the Bell. More recently he’s taken to TV hosting gigs, the most notable being that of TV newsmagazine Extra!‘s co-emcee.

Don’t Miss: How you can catch Jane Elliot’s swan song GH ep if it was preempted in your area.

We look forward to seeing what fun and excitement the Lopezes will bring to the upcoming Nurse’s Ball. A fab song and dance number, perhaps? The Ball always has some exciting surprises, so Lopez could even get mixed up in some of the many zany dramas taking place on GH now. We wonder how he’ll react to Lucy’s annual wardrobe malfunction!
