Just on Thursday, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was unhappily surprised when Jack (Peter Bergman) threw in her face that “their” father was really only his father.
At the end of the week, her mother, Dina (Marla Adams) does something that surprises her too. But will it be in a bad way or a good way, dear Soap Cities readers?

With an elder suffering from Alzheimer’s, part of the struggle of caregiving loved ones like Ashley is that, on some level, they never know what to expect with those who have the illness.

No, that’s not the name of an assisted living community. Well it probably is, but not in this case. We mean it to refer to what’s in store for Nick (Joshua Morrow).
With The Underground taking a hit, Nick’s had to rethink a lot in his life. At week’s end, he takes on something new.

Hiding In Plain Sight
Meanwhile, Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) have to play make-believe. They feel they can’t be open about their feelings, so they do the soapy thing and hide them. After all, if they just came out and said them, what fun would there be for us viewers, right?
This might be a good time to ask: is there any woman in town (besides him mom) that Scott hasn’t had a flirtation with? My, the hunky journalist certainly has an eye for the ladies!
