Actor Ryan Ashton talks about his character’s departure from Genoa City!
Farewell with a Bang!
All certainly did not end well for The Young and the Restless villain Zack Sinnett, whose time in Genoa City was unceremoniously cut short via gunshot courtesy of Crystal (Morgan Obenreder).
Ashton opened up to our totes awesome friends at Soap Opera Digest about his thoughts on his character’s demise.
Related: This Y&R head honcho opened up on the inspiration behind Dina’s Alzheimer’s storyline.
“The second I learned Zack was involved with a sex ring, I knew it wouldn’t end well for him,” he said. “Honestly, I’m surprised it even lasted as long as it did.”
Fan Appreciation
Ashton gave special recognition to Y&R’s cast, crew, and fans for their support during his six months on the show in a heartfelt tweet.
