The Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, December 27th, foretell that the sexy, sassy souls of Salem navigate their way through some seriously soapy situations as 2017 draws to a close and 2018 begins.

Eric (Greg Vaughan) may have been in love with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) just recently, but she’s gone and probably not returning for a long time, if ever. It’s time for him to move on, right dear Soap Cities readers? And he was getting involved with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), anyway, before he revisited the whole Nicole thing. So, as this year ends and a new one begins, he accepts an invitation to go on a date when Jennifer asks him.

Abigail (Marci Miller) realizes something that will likely shock her on Hump Day in Salem. Will she share this knowledge with Chad (Billy Flynn)?
