Living La Vida Zack-a
Over at the GCAC, Zack (Ryan Ashton) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) are having quenching their thirst–for beverages, you naughty Soap Cities readers–just for beverages! Ms. Questionable-Life-Choices herself excitedly tells Zocipathic Zack, “Let’s do it!”
Underwhelmed in his very Zack-ish way, he asks, “Do what?”

Among the ashes of the fire and all it destroyed, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) have an intense conversation.
“This is the second hit this place has taken,” Nick observes sadly. “Maybe this is fate’s way of telling me to move on.”
Well, it’s got a certain hard-to-argue with logic to it, right, readers?

How Does Hilary Keep a Straight Face?
Whatever Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) drinking/smoking that gives her the confidence to say things like, “It’s my duty as a journalist to report the facts–warts and all,” we’re going to need some for ourselves.
And, yes, she actually says that–with a straight face–to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), Monday.
Chelsea–sporting a crimped do to start out the week–leans in, unfazed, and asks, “Is that a threat?”

We’re guessing the answer will be, “No,” but if Hilary were as interested in honesty as she claims to be, it should be, “Yes!”
