Abe Carver, in the Days of Our Lives spoilers.

The Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, October 3rd, tease that your soapy Salem stars are mixed up in some seriously dramatic wackiness!

And My Choice Is…

Well, we don’t envy Abe (James Reynolds), we have to say, dear Soap Cities readers! He has the unenviable task of choosing between Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) Salem’s next Police Commissioner. They’re a couple, so the decision may cause (more) awkwardness with them; they’re his friends, so they may resent him for whomever he chooses; and they’re both pretty qualified for the jobs, so who is the greater of two “goods?”

Tuesday, he makes a decision about who will lead the Salem PD as 2017 nears its end and on.

Stonewalling Sonny, Putting a Damper on Paul

The “mystery guest”–how long do we have to keep calling him that?–evades Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) attempts to get more information from him. Watch out, mystery guest, Sonny’s learned a trick or two lately, being a captain of industry and what not.

Don’t Miss: See what this Salem father in trouble said about Chandler Massey’s return.

Meanwhile, Paul (Christopher Sean) gets disappointing news. Oy! Heartbreak and sorry–they’re an undeniable part of soaps, right? So we should be used to them. But it’s always hard to watch a character you care about be bummed out–especially when Paul can express sadness with those soulful eyes like no one else.

Don’t Push Me

Must-Read: Why the Salem heroine/villainess to end all Salem heroine/villainesses just HAD to return.

JJ (Casey Moss), meanwhile, is pushed to the edge. He just wanted to see his sister and BFF’s find a little happiness. Who knows how he’ll react now that they’ve been thwarted again!
