Winsor Harmon took to Twitter to let B&B fans in on some stunning news!
A Surprising Phone Call
Harmon said he spoke to Brad Bell, B&B‘s Executive Producer and Head Writer yesterday and got some news that we found rather stunning.
Harmon said Bell told him Thorne, the character he played, was being recast! Why would this be, dear Soap Cities readers, we’re not sure.

Just spoke with Brad Bell and at this time he’s decided to RECAST THORNE. I wish the new actor and the show continued success.

We only recently saw Thorne return to Los Angeles when the Forresters had a collective fit after Eric (John McCook) married Quinn (Rena Sofer). Of course, his stay was a very brief one. So, perhaps the role’s being recast has something to do with Harmon’s availability?
Don’t Miss: Another B&B star dished on his exit from the show too!
Never Say Never
Harmon began playing Thorne in 1996 when Jeff Trachta vacated the role. He played the character for 17 years.
We think it’s always important to remember, dear readers, that this is daytime, so both on-screen and off it’s important to never say never. Who knows what the future holds or if Harmon might one day reprise the role of Thorne?
