Does Leaked Photo Tease GH Star Steve Burton is Nikolas Cassadine?!

The mystery of who Steve Burton will play deepens as his General Hospital comeback nears!

A Twitter Oopsie

A Twitter user, soap fan, and GH viewer, known to us as Soap Chick, posted some stunning screenshots to her account, which may be the final (for now, at least) clue in the “Who Will Steve Burton Play” mystery. Those shots showed pretty convincing evidence that Burton will play the patient who currently seems like he might be Nikolas Cassadine. A hoodie Burton was wearing on-set and a decorative plant behind him match the hoodie Patient 6 wears and the plant in his Russian digs.

GH fans have been asking and pontificating on who Burton will play since the show announced Burton’s Port Charles homecoming several weeks ago.

After Soap Chicks posting of the aforementioned images the GH-fan twitter-verse went wild with retweets of Soap Chick’s Twitter theory. Then, suddenly, her account was private.

Fear Not, Faithful Fans

A resourceful fan named Monica Del Ray took screenshots before Soap Chick blocked Twitter from seeing her account. Who knows–maybe ABC saw her online missives and told her to cease and desist the spoiling!
