Outspoken and fun, fun, fun as always, Strasser told some behind-the-scenes OLTL tales!
Those Were the Days, With Mel Hayes
Strasser took to Twitter to share that her “most intimate” professional partnership was with fellow One Life to Live star Stephen Markle (Mel Hayes). Despite the smokin’ hot sparks that flew between them on-screen, she said, the two were only close friends.

When controversial soap producer Jill Farren Phelps decided to fire Markle, she called Strasser into her office to tell her. Strasser was devastated, going back to Markle’s dressing room to cry.
The luminous Strasser, gorgeous and a thespian extraordinaire, said she’d welcome a chance to work with Markle again.
Don’t Miss: Strasser charmingly broke a story that OLTL and Days fans alike will want to know!
Markle and Strasser even shared an apartment–as good friends only–for a couple months. Oh, that NYC life, right, dear Soap Cities readers?
My most intimate partnership professionally was #StephenMarkle oh MEL Totally platonic but atomic chemistry going on-man was electrifying;-)

Mommie Dearest
Strasser had an inspired idea for someone to play Dorian’s mother. Bette Ford! But EP Jill Farren Phelps vetoed it.
#OLTL Seemed if I suggested a good actor they’d NEVER be cast- TRULY wanted #BetteFord to play #Dorian‘s Mom #JillFarrenPhelps said NO-noFOJ

Beautiful BFFs
Strasser said she and Louise Sorel (Vivian Alamain, Days) became close friends, even though then EP Paul Rauch brought her to NY to replace Strasser ! Ultimately, Sorel went on to play socialite Judith Russell Sanders.
#LouiseSorel We first met when #OLTL#EP#PaulRauch brought her to #NY to replace me as #Dorian-TRUE! Haha-we became longtime buds instead:)

An Idea–Just Sayin’
Perhaps Strasser and Markle could share screen time (and an apartment–ya’ never know!) OLTL 3.0, which ABC is in talks to bring back to screens along with its sister soap All My Children?
We have high hopes that we’ll see both Strasser and Markle on our screens again soon!
Before you go: Strasser shared on winning a personal struggle, giving hope to many with similar health problems.
