Things are up in the air–much like the eclipse itself!–for Days of Our Lives viewers, so get the details below, fans!
Will Days Itself Be Eclipsed?
“NBC has scheduled two optional special reports (meaning they are not mandatory to carry on every affiliate). The first optional special report will air from 1:12-1:30PM ET. The second optional special report will air from 2PM-3PM ET (1PM-2PM CT). Affiliates in the Eastern and Central time zones may miss portions of “Days” on Monday. If you miss any portion of Days on Monday, August 21, you can watch it later in the evening on NBC.com,” according to our friend and go-to Days guru Jason47 on his Facebook page.
in essence, the sudser is NOT preempted. The network will NOT air tomorrow’s episode even if it’s interrupted or the viewer misses the episode due to national or local coverage of the solar eclipse.
