A Fabulously Familiar Role
Gati fans can rejoice, because the actress has announced on Twitter that she is returning to the show in the role of Raisa, which she originated in the series’ 2012 pilot.

“I am so happy to be home on Arrow,” she said. “I loved my Arrow family during the pilot shoot and it is a joy to work with Stephen Amell and the gang again. I am looking forward to working with everyone!”
Of course, we know and love Gati as the onerously officious Dr. Obrecht on GH. However, she also has been a longtime fixture on a variety of primetime shows, including a role the CW’s Arrow.

Not Done on GH!
Now GH fans, hold your horses, because Gati isn’t done with her brilliant portrayal of our favorite Teutonic physician who’s fond of stirring up trouble just yet! Despite Obrecht’s dismissal from her position at the hospital for tampering with Finn’s (Michael Easton) drug tests, she tweeted, “I will continue to recur on GH as long as they want me to.” Fans can breathe a sigh of relief!

Gati, of course, has been in the spotlight of late with her menacing yet always amusing portrayal of Obrecht. However, she has been a fixture on many television shows, including Being Mary Jane and Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462, to name a few.
We at Soap Cities look forward to seeing more of Gati’s formidable talent!
A Sweet Social Media Message!
