Most Days fans know by now that ex-Days Head Writer Dena Higley was replaced by Ron Carlivati, former Head Writer at One Life to Live and General Hospital. He’s known for revitalizing and reinvigorating soaps, so let’s hope he injects lots of exciting new drama, romance, and intrigue. Right, dear Soap Cities readers?

Carlivati also Tweeted an image, in addition to the one above with the first page of his first script, of the first scene he wrote. In it, Marlena (Deidre Hall) is waiting for John (Drake Hogestyn) for a date. Kate (Lauren Koslow) is there and agrees with Marlena that there’s nothing like being home in Salem and seeing loved ones.
