What did we JUST say about preemptions (see below for a reminder), dear Soap Cities readers? Days of Our Lives won’t be on the air Monday, May 29th, because of a sports event.

The 2017 French Open: First Round will take the place of the action in Salem on Monday on NBC.

You Know How We Feel
We at Soap Cities are not fans of the preemption of soaps, except for acts of war or terrorism. But, at least a sports event isn’t the news, which could be seen in its allotted time each day, in a crawl on the bottom of the screen, on the networks’ sister cable news channels, or on the networks’ websites or apps, rather than have it cut into soaps on ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Well, Days will be back on Tuesday, so all is not lost. And it’s shaping up to be a drama-filled week on our favorite NBC sudser.

I just about slapped the tv..Days was on my dailey recording list. Then poof it was gone..
I understand sometime there has to be changes. I have watched Days since the first episode. Man has it changed. Even visited the studio and met some of the early cast. Marlana would not come out of her dressing room. Tata. Met the nice gentleman who plays Lucus. Picture made wth Stephano’s character. Such a gentlemen. Shawns character. Sure miss Bo and Hope team. Still my favorite Soap..Forever. Dont care for the gay stuff. XO 😎😍🤔😢😇
