The General Hospital spoilers for Friday, April 28th, predict that it’s all about Tracy, Tracy, Tracy. And we can’t wait!
A Message From Above
Tracy (Jane Elliot) makes a visit to the family mausoleum to chat with her many dear, departed family members. She tells them they all should have appreciated her when they had the chance. She says she’s off to the land of fun and sun!
She says with a mixture of pride and sadness that she’s the last Quartermaine standing. Just then, one of the mausoleum plaques falls and hits her on the head. She’s out cold!
Tracy then proceeds to have a very Charles Dickens/A Christmas Carol/Ebeneezer Scrooge experience.
Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Tracy has led a colorful, adventurous life, making some questionable choices along the way and being wronged by others too.
Among lots of other antics, she’s sparred endlessly with Monica (Leslie Charleson), done whatever it took to keep ELQ in the hands of the Quartermaines, and who can forget her withholding Edward’s heart medication from him until she got what she wanted!
A Seminal Moment
The drama set in motion by Larry Ashton’s revealing of the painting Edward left at the Turkish monastery, and Samira’s arrival in Port Charles, have turned out to be watershed moments in Tracy’s life.
“Tracy has been hit with a some shocks about her past, and so she is sort of thinking about everything that has gone down in her life. She’s getting a lot of pressure to do the right ting, and she’s trying to figure out what the right thing is–whether she cares or not what the right thing is, because she’s Tracy! She’s always marched to the sound of her own drummer,” GH co-head writer Jean Passanante told Soap Opera Digest in its latest print edition.
And so, Tracy envisions herself having to explain what she’s done and why over the course of her life in a special GH episode revolving around her. Some other Port Charles faves make appearances, but in places you wouldn’t expect. For example, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will play a judge as Tracy’s imagines herself and her life on trial! See a video preview here.
“People who have been important to her life in Port Charles will voice various opinions about the way she should conduct herself from here on out,” Passanante said.
