A few days ago we brought you news of the possibility that Anthony Geary would be returning to General Hospital. Here is the latest on that juicy rumor!
The Latest
Recently, Soap Cities brought you news that Geary came back Stateside to attend the farewell party for departing ex-cast mate and friend, Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine).
“Rumor has it that Geary may reprise Luke for Tracy’s swan song,” reported Soap Opera Digest (SOD) in its latest print edition.
A GH rep issed a non-denial “denial” in response to SOD’s query about this possibility. “No comment,” the rep said. If he weren’t going to they would come out and say it, right, dear Soap Cities readers?
SOD also astutely pointed out that GH Executive Producer said the Port Charles city gate never closed for Geary.
“The door will always remain open, so don’t think this is the last you’ll see of Anthony Geary or Luke Spencer,” Valentini said.
Emotional Times for Tracy and Lulu–a Perfect Chance for Luke to Return?
Tracy has been riding quite an emotional roller-coaster lately. First, Larry Ashton (Oliver Muirhead) reappeared. He brought news of the Edward’s painting in Turkey, which led Tracy and Laura (Genie Francis), two of the most important women in Luke’s life, to jet off to Turkey to retrieve it. Then came news of Ned’s (Wally Kurth) impending marriage to Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), which Tracy was supportive of, but it’s still a big change for her.
Tracy even wept in Ned’s arms a couple days ago because of all she’s been through lately.
Lulu (Emme Rylan), Luke’s daughter, has been having a heck of a time too. She’s been locking horns with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) over Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). There’s no one better to put a Cassadine in his place than Luke!
So, wouldn’t it be the perfect time for Geary to return? What do you think, Soap Cities readers?
