Think you know Ryan Paevey, who plays General Hospital’s sexy cop, Det. Nathan West? Well, here are ten fun facts about him.
#1. He’s a native Californian.
Ryan was born in Torrance and raised in Los Angeles
#2. He is multilingual.
He has spoken some French on GH, and it’s not an act! Ryan can speak the language and some Japanese as well.
#3. He’s modeled.
He has done print ads–including for Izod–and television commercials.
#4. He’s handy with a hammer.
Ryan has experience working alongside his dad in construction.
#5. He has a motorcycle named Lilith.
Ryan is an avid motorcyclist. He took a nasty spill in 2015 that injured his right wrist. Ever the trooper though, he eventually recovered and got back on the bike.
#6. He has a favorite food.
Sushi, anyone? He even showed viewers how to make it on an appearance on the Hallmark Channel once.
#7. He’s been a dog show judge.
On-screen that is! He played one in the Hallmark Channel’s 2016 movie, Unleashing Mr. Darcy. That’s inspired casting–Ryan Paevey as a modern day Will Darcy-type a la Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.
#8. He’s athletically inclined.
His high school years included running track and cross country.
#9. He’s at home in the water.
Surfing is one of his hobbies. It looks like more of that California flavor!
10. He’s multitalented.
Ryan not only acts but designs handmade jewelry and is a photographer as well. His brand is called Fortunate Wanderer. You can get some of his goods for sale on his brand’s website.
