A goodbye cast party leaves us wondering–and hopeful–about his possible return!
Goodbye and Hello?
Now that iconic GH actress Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine) is set to leave the show, could the equally iconic Tony Geary (Luke Spencer) be paying a return visit to the canvas? Well, photos that Carolyn Hennessy (Diane Miller) posted to her Instagram page certainly hint at the possibility! According to Soaps in Depth, the photos imply that they were taken as the cast bid Elliot farewell. One of Hennesy’s captions read “Jane, one of the greatest broads of all time. All time,” as the two embraced. Scroll down to see that post and another, but first read on!
Lo and Behold, Look Who’s Here!
However, another photo really ramped up the speculation. It captured Hennesy flanked by GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini and none other than Geary himself. “Two entertainment giants and yours truly,” it said. Geary’s final appearance on the soap was July 27, 2015 when he walked off the Port Charles docks and into the darkness. Now, might he be coming back into the light? Tracy and Laura (Genie Francis) are off on a Turkish adventure, which might be the perfect time for Luke to make an appearance alongside his cherished ex-wives!
Here’s hoping! It would be so exciting to see Luke, Laura, and Tracy on an adventure together, wouldn’t it, Soap Cities readers? It was a long trip from Amsterdam, where Geary currently resides, to LA, so let’s hope he’ll get lots done here–like guest-starring on GH.
Soap Cities also mused earlier this week that perhaps Jane Elliot’s swan song storyline might involve Luke, her beloved ex.
We also wondered if the role of Tracy should be recast when Elliot leaves, and her fans had a passionate response!
