A Beautiful Day for a Bold and Beautiful Pair
Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) posted a set of lovely pics to her official Facebook page, depicting the fun and frolic that took place yesterday as the two thespians celebrated their first scenes on Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)! Read on and see the pics below!
The sun was shining and their wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The celebration included words by B&B producer Ed Scott, flanked by Lang and McCook at a podium. There were also cupcakes with their likenesses and giant banner in the air congratulating the two on their three decades portraying the same, fabulous characters.
Inaugural Scenes
Watching their first scenes on B&B, it’s amazing to see how Brooke and Eric have evolved and yet stayed the same at their cores. See the full episode below.
Brooke frantically opens the door to her simple home, beaten and bewildered. Katie (ex-Nancy Sloan) begs her to explain what happened to her. Brooke doesn’t want to, as Katie is young and innocent. She may have been hurt, but there’s still an essential strength to Brooke.
Eric meanwhile is charming and charismatic as he sends off his employees after a Forrester fashion show. Then he and Ridge (ex-Ron Moss) spar over what the designs should have been like. Ridge says they need more sex appeal, but Eric says women don’t respond to the same things in clothing intended to be sexy that men do. Eric is a strong patriarch but also clearly values his son. He also has firm, well-argued opinions about how Forrester Creations should be run.

On March 23rd, B&B marks its 30th anniversary, and the show is going all out to celebrate its pearl milestone.
It’s been a joy watching so many characters near and dear to us fans love, laugh, cry, fight, scheme, grow, and evolve over this time. They remind us that we too are all bold and beautiful, we just have to know how to work it!
