“General Hospital” Co-Head Writers Shelly Altman and Jean Passanante teased us what’s ahead for the popular coupling of Elizabeth and Franco, aka #Friz!
Elizabeth/Franco: “Their relationship is going to take a dramatic turn. ‘Friz’ fans have a lot to look foward to. They deserve a little break after their tortured courtship,” the writers said in the February Sweeps issue of “Soap Opera Digest.”
A new Challenge for Friz!
In the latest issue of ABC Soaps In Depth, the writers gave a little bit more insight into what we can expect for our beloved #Friz. As February starts, a strange series of events clear the path of romance for Franco (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). They begin to take things to the next level while unseen threats loom over them.
Altman assures, they have a generous love for one another, and they will sort of go past the point of no return where their committment is concerned. But they are not alone in the world, and not everyone around them wants to see them happy. The test for them will be finding a way to face those who would try and, and for whatever reason, tear them apart!”
We know from watching GH this past week, Liz took the big step of allowing Franco to recuperate at her house. However, we wonder who would want to get in their way and tear them apart. Could it be Nina (Michelle Stafford), who might try to get back together with her ex after finding out what Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is really about? I guess we will have to find out together dear readers!
