There’s a war raging in Port Charles. The fact that it’s legal and civil, not political, doesn’t mean it’s any less brutal. Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are locked in a winner-take-all battle for their daughter.
A Little Girl Caught in the Crossfire
Charlotte Cassadine came to town with her supposed mother, Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson) late last year. First the scheming Claudette tried to pass Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) off as Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) daughter. Then she claimed Griffin (Matt Cohen) fathered the little girl. Next Claudette high-tailed it out of town, just as her possessive and ruthless ex-boyfriend, Valentin came to Port Charles. Though Valentin tried to keep it a secret for a while, Lulu (Emme Rylan) figured out she was actually Charlotte’s biological mother.
A Custody Battle Begins
The Spencers and Cassadines have been bitter enemies for decades, and it is no less true of Lulu and Valentin. Lulu can’t stand the thought of the man who held her and others hostage, killed her brother, and seriously injured Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) raising her flesh and blood. Also, Lulu has been dreaming for months of having a second child and raising him or her with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).
Just as Lulu announced her intention to sue Valentin for full custody of Charlotte, the black sheep Cassadine announced he and Nina (Michelle Stafford) had married. If those two are able to provide a stable home for Charlotte, Lulu’s chances of winning custody of her daughter will get complicated.
Finally, Charlotte clearly loves her father, Valentin, whatever his flaws. She also has taken a liking to Nina.

I feel if she belongs to LUlu then that’s who she belongs with no if and or buts.Why drag this on an on. she is or she’s not……
They should have joint custody. We all know Nickolas isn’t dead and beyond that Valentin is a good father!
I agree with Dawn. Nic’s not dead and Valentin seems like he’s a good dad.
