We’ll soon see Susan Lucci (Erica Kane) on our screens in a whole new way. What’s in store could predict an “All My Children” (AMC) revival!
Art Imitates Life for an Ex-Onscreen Talk Show Host
Fans of the Lucci’s iconic AMC character may recall she once hosted her own talk show on the ABC sudser. The skills she used as host of “New Beginnings” will come in handy for La Lucci soon.
She’ll be guest co-hosting “Home and Family” on the Hallmark Channel, reported People Monday. The radiant Lucci will serve in this position from January 30th to February 3rd.
Some Exciting Guests Coming Up
Lucci will preside over a mini-AMC reunion on the February 2nd episode.
Peter Bergman, Kim Delaney, Lawrence Lau, Eden Riegel, Kathleen Noone, Eva LaRue, John Callahan, Rebecca Budig and Cameron Mathison will come together on the Hallmark Channel’s lifestyle show.
A Perfect, Soapy Storm
Soap Cities (SC) has recently reported on all the latest news on the fight to save AMC and “One Life to Live” (OLTL). A TV five days of talk show hosting by Lucci and a one exciting appearance by a star-studded group of her ex-castmates poses a prime opportunity for AMC fans. If the top brass at ABC receive lots of pro-AMC feedback that coincides with those events, an AMC resurrection could have that much more hope.
