A Remarkably Grateful, Positive Young Man

An OLTL Alum From a Fabulously Soap-y Family
Alderson played Matthew Buchanan on “One Life to Live.” His sister, Kristen Alderson, grew up on camera on the same show, playing Starr Manning for 14 years! He began acting as a young child and has other television and film credits under his belt.
Eddie was nominated for a Young Artist Award and two Daytime Emmy Awards for his work as Matthew on OLTL.
Kristen took the role of Starr Manning to “General Hospital” (GH). She then originated another role on GH, that of Kiki Jerome, now played by the luminous Hayley Erin. She recently said she’d love to come back to GH as Starr.
Kristen has been nominated for four Young Artist Awards and one Soap Opera Digest Award. She has been nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards and won one.
Clearly thespian talent is in the Alderson genes!
