Maureen McKay Taylor

Maureen writes our Days of Our Lives recaps and helps out with a variety of SC-related jobs. She is an indispensable part of the team.

Maureen Taylor cannot live without watching television. “I will stay up all night if it means catching up with my shows.  Married to the man of my dreams and we have four adult children and three grandchildren.  My family means the world to me.  I would say I’m smart, very outspoken, extremely funny and creative.  Although I have an adventurous and spontaneous side, I prefer to spend my time just being at home with family.  I am also a people person, always willing to give a helping hand to those in need.  I’ve always dreamed of being an actress/model, but never really pursued it, because my mom was very protective back then.  I once drank from the Fountain of Youth, which is why I don’t look 55 years old.  Hey, this picture really is from 2016 and not Photoshopped, lol!”

Christine Chagaris

Christine is a native New Yorker and freelance writer who now lives in southwestern Connecticut. She is a longtime, avid soap fan who has always had an affinity for ABC soaps, in particular her favorite, General Hospital. (She will even tell you she sleeps, eats and breathes that soap!) She is passionate about the soap genre, and in addition she enjoys traveling, attending plays and musicals, reading biographies and various pursuits in between. She was a political science/history major, English minor and has published a book of paranormal short stories under her nom de plume, Prudence MacGregor.

Marcia Howell Hensley

Marcia–or as we like to call her, Miss Marcia–helps out with load of things at Soap Cities, particularly those that are Days of Our Lives-related. She is the guru of the NBC sudser. She helps with spoilers, news, you name it. To top it all off, she is one of the kindest people we know, who is simply a joy to work with. Join her Days Facebook page–THE place to be for any Days fan–Days of Our Lives, Secrets Revealed!

Marcia has been watching Days since day one. She’s watched other soaps, but Days has always held a special place in her heart. This is probably the case because she watched it with her mother until her passing. She’s been married for 45 years in June, (yes to the same man). They’ve raised a total of 20 kid’s. 2 bio- 1 adopted and 17 foster children. My hobbies are Days, my grandkids, going to the beach and cooking.
