The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, January 3rd, foretell that the glam group from Genoa City deals with some seriously soapy situations on Hump Day, as the year opens.

Once and for All

Well, now, dear Soap Cities readers, that may be overstating the case, as Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) do, in fact, settle a score mid-week in Genoa City, but we can’t say they’ll never have another beefy with each other again. They are Abbotts, so drama sort of comes with the familial territory, right?

Soapy Siblings

Then, they’re siblings, so add that to the list of reasons they have and will clash. The brotherly/sisterly bond is a special one, offering great support but also a competitiveness like no other. We’re sure many of you, dear readers, can relate to that.

Mama Mischief

Of course, both Jack and Ashley are Dina’s (Marla Adams) children, which makes for prime fodder for sparring. Not only do they have her pugnacious genes, they’re dealing with a lot of drama specifically with Dazzling Dina these days.

We’re glad to know that, for now, though, Jack and Ashely are burying the hatchet. Let’s just hope neither of them hacks at their family tree with it anytime soon!
