The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, January 2nd, foretell that the gorgeous group from Genoa City is submerged in soapy sudsiness at the dawn of the new year!

Reed My Lips

We imagine something like, “Read my lips…” will be said on Tuesday between JT (Thad Luckinbill) and Billy (Jason Thompson), and the pun was just too irresistible.

Anyway, these two handsome hunks clash over Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). This was bound to happen, right, dear Soap Cities readers? JT and Billy are strong personalities, and one is Reed’s biological father, while the other’s come to play the role of father and friend to him.

All of that is, of course, in addition to the fact that Reed’s going through some tough, teen times of late. It’s prime adults-at-each-other’s-throats fooder, isn’t it?

Tick-Tick-Tick, Boom!

Another Genoa City-ite gets ticked off, Tuesday. That’s all we can tell you about that one, but who do you think it’ll be, dear readers? Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), who has lots of Victor-related stuff to be angry about lately? Jack (Peter Bergman) or Ashley (Eileen Davidson) about something about Jabot or Dina (Marla Adams)? Someone totally unexpected?

Must-Read: See what Y&R head honcho Mal Young said about the inspiration behind Dina’s Alzheimer’s story.
