The Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, December 20th, tease that the sassy souls of Salem–in particular one–on Hump Day–suss out some seriously soapy situations in their lives. Read on for more details!

Prepare for the Worst

JJ (Casey Moss), as all you dear Soap Cities readers and devoted Days fans know, has been absolutely beside himself since Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) shooting. It was an accident, of course. JJ is a good person. He would never harm anyone on purpose, but with Abe (James Reynolds) blaming the poor guy, his guilt only became worse. Then his job, which he loved and took great pride in, was affected.

When you love your work, it becomes your identity. JJ feels lost without comfort in knowing he’s an officer of the law. And all his deep, loving relationships have been affected in some way too–even his own with himself.

On Wednesday, he begins to write letters to his loved ones and give away his possessions. That’s what people do, as you know, readers, when they are methodically planning to kill themselves.

Misty Watercolored Memories

Don’t Miss: A Days set designer is suing Sony, because she said this happened to her online.

As Barbara Streisand sang, our memories are sometimes “mist” and faded when we recall them years later.

JJ does just that. He remembers fondly days past, with the many beautiful relationships and joyous times he’s had with loved ones, including Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), Jack (ex-Matthew Ashford), and Abigail (Marci Miller).
