Karla Bergstrom is suing Days of Our Lives producers for an on-set injury.

Sony Suit

Bergstrom, a set designer at Days, alleges she suffered “severe brain injuries” when lighting equipment fell on her, according to our pals at TMZ.

“In docs, obtained by TMZ, Bergstrom says the workers were lowering a 400-pound bar of stage lights back in 2015, but failed to give anyone a heads-up. She says the grid came down on top of her, causing her head injuries,” according to TMZ.

Onscreen, Offscreen

Things are going so well onscreen over in Salem, thanks to Ron Carlivati’s fabulous soap makeover over at Days, right dear Soap Cities readers?

Don’t Miss: A wildly popular Days actress weighed in on her onscreen son’s return as well.

Also: This actress doing soap double-duty weighed in on her wacky Salem persona.

We sure hope this lawsuit gets resolved to the satisfaction of all parties involved so that things can go well offscreen too.

Workplace safety is important, too, so it’s always good when our beloved soaps ensure that it’s being addressed.
