Fan fave Jen Lilley is set to make a Salem comeback! Get the details!

Oh, Happy Day!

The uber-popular actress has already started taping scenes, and her new material will begin airing in May 2018, according to our fab friends at Soap Opera Digest.

Lilley, left Days of Our Lives last year, much to the chagrin of her legion of passionate fans. She had played good/bad-girl legacy character Theresa Donovan and become a part of the beating heart and passionate soul of the NBC sudser.

Then family life and other projects called, and we had to bid a not-so-fond farewell to the oh-so-lovable Lilley. To make matters worse, we had to get behind Theresa’s inexplicable decision to abandon Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Tate, which we all knew Theresa would never do. But life calls, so Lilley left.

Don’t Miss: See what this Salem icon said about the return of his onscreen son–and lots more!

We kind of always knew she’d come back to the show, though, didn’t we dear Soap Cities readers?

An Impressive Resume

Lilley has a slew of movie and television credits under her belt, including a memorable stint as Maxie Jones on General Hospital.

Recently, she starred in a coupe Hallmark movies that Soap Cities brought you news of.

What do you think Theresa will be up to in Salem upon her comeback, Days fans? Getting Brady back in line after his disastrous relationship with Nicole and relapses, perhaps?
