Vanessa Marcil took to Instagram to share a save-the-date for an exciting reveal to come!

Burnin’ Up For Her Love

So sang Madonna in her classic 1980’s tune, “Burning Up,” and we felt that way when we saw Marcil’s Instagram post about “big” news she’ll have to share in about nine days! She included some fiery emojis in the caption to her image.

See her post below.

The Possibilities

Such is Marcil’s popularity as Port Charles’ Brenda Barrett, and by some accounts, the only woman for Sonny (Maurice Benard), it seems there’s always a rumor afoot somewhere in the soap community that she’s set to reprise the role that catapulted her to fame and into the hearts of GH fans everywhere.

Must-Read: Another Port Charles fan fave proved you can at least touch a young-looking dog new tricks.

So is she going to return to Port Charles as Brenda Barrett, dear Soap Cities (SC) readers?

Or does she have something quite different in the works, as our savvy SC co-founder and co-Editor-in-Chief posted: that she’s about to announce that she’ll be the new co-host on CBS’ The Talk, possibly replacing Aisha Tyler. She did, after all, do a couple guest-co-hosting gigs on the gab fest last week.

What About You?

What do you think, readers? And moreover, which do you want it to be? Or is there something else you hope she’ll announce?

  1. Ugh! I hope she’s not coming back to GH! Her previous returns over the past 15+ years have gotten progressively worse!
I’m not a big VM fan, so whatever her announcement is, MEH!
