Why, Exactly?
Bill (Don Diamont) tells Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about how he’s risen to the top of the publishing world, even though she already knows.
He looks hardened and slightly weary as he says, “You don’t get ahead by playing by the rules–you MAKE the rules.”

Later, Brooke asks him, “Why do you need to hand the company over to Liam?”
Insulting Compliments
Another struggling business leaders, Sally (Courtney Hope) says: “I know you’re not going to take this as a compliment, but you and I are actually a lot alike.”
She’s once again wearing that to-die-for statement necklace.

Spencer Standoffs
At the Spencer offices, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) have an intense, much-needed chat about their future.
“I know you can make this company better under your leadership…” Steffy begins.
“Is there a ‘but’ coming?” Liam asks, interrupting her.

“Yeah, there’s a ‘but.’ I don’t care about this company right now. I care about you and your father, the effect this will have on your relationship,” Steffy continues.
