Jason’s (Billy Miller) awake! And he immediately begins thinking of what changes to make in his life to see that he never ends up on the receiving end of a heart monitor again. Sam (Kelly Monaco) is by his side, looking very pleased and offering her support, as he tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) some news that may not go over so well.

“I just can’t take the risks anymore. I hope you can accept that,” Jason tells Sonny of life as the mobster’s unofficial enforcer.

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) comes upon an absolutely beaming Monica (Leslie Charleson). The nurse tells Jason’s mom, “This must be your lucky day!” And she means it, right, dear Soap Cities readers? Against all odds, Jason’s back with all his loved ones.

At her apartment, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) has a visitor. It’s her ex’s sister! Despite Nelle’s attempt to close the door on that chapter in her life–and the door–the sister won’t be dismissed.
