The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 25th, foretell that Genoa City proves once again to be anything but a sleepy, Midwestern hamlet.

Taking a Page from Hamlet

With all the familial backstabbing and rocky romances going on, Genoa City could, however, be the setting for one of ol’ Will Shakespeare’s dramas, like Hamlet.

Friday, Billy (Jason Thompson) takes advantage of an opportunity.

He and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are sharing a bite to eat at where so much Y&R action goes down: the GCAC!

Phyllis says to him, “You said you want to hit back at Jack at Jabot.” She wants to know what he has in mind.

He says nothing at first, but looks over at Dina (Marla Adams) who’s sharing a lively conversation with someone and smiling brightly.

Mommy Makes Everything All Better

Meanwhile, At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) talk business.

As Ashley looks over some papers, Jack says, “Well, wouldn’t you know! Mother’s finally an asset at Jabot!”

Don’t Miss: Ex-Y&R Head Writer Sally Sussman dished on a controversial show love story!

A Granddaughter’s Instinct…or More?

At Crimson Lights, Nick (Joshua Morrow), Sharon (Sharon Case), and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) have a chat of their own.

Faith says, “Grandpa needs company now that Grandma’s moved out.”

A shocked Nick asks his daughter, “How do you know about that?”

Must-Read: Fans expressed their vehement disapproval of the pairing of these two Genoa City-ites–and we were shocked!

Faith looks taken off guard by his query, as if she let too much slip, perhaps.
