General Hospital could be eclipsed in your market for coverage of the solar eclipse.

General Hospital will show July 25ths episodeĀ on some stations in order to make room for possible eclipse coverage on Monday, August 21.

The Moon Blocks a New GH Epi–But Only for a Day!

The long-awaited solar eclipse – when the moon passes between the sun and the earth’s orbit – will also block out a new episode of GH on Monday, August 21st, according to Soaps In Depth.

Various ABC affiliates will be airing the July 25th episode, in case some will be showing eclipse coverage, so as to give fans a level viewing field when it comes to the new episode on Tuesday, August 22nd.

“TheĀ  regular drama in Port Charles will resume on Tuesday, Aug. 22, so you can find out what Franco wants from Ava, if Anna can discover what is really going on with Valentin and Spencer’s diamond, and so much more,” also according to Soaps In Depth.

The repeat episode includes Maxie’s brief reunion with Nathan, Spencer’s reemergence, and Sam’s showdown with Sonny at the distillery.
