Jennifer Sky gives a shout out to Herbst on her 20th anniversary on GH.

Sisterly Bond

Jennifer Sky (ex-Sarah Webber) took to note that she herself started on GH as Sarah Webber 20 years ago, but also to lavish praise on a worthy subject: Rebecca Herbst, who celebrated 2o years on the soap on August 2nd.

In that time, Herbst has delivered consistently, often quietly, moving, carefully executed performances. But, as Sky noted, perhaps none was more significant than the storyline in which a young Elizabeth was raped by Tom Baker.

Sibling Rivalry

Must-Read: Some SETSIDE spoilers about The Tale of Two Jasons to come!

Sky, who went on to star on other television shows, movies, and has since pursued a successful writing career, initially came to Port Charles as the “good” sister of then-rebellious Elizabeth. The siblings’ tenuous bond was strengthened after the rape, though Sarah left PC for California in 2002 to pursue her medical career. (Sky played the role from 1997-98.) Elizabeth’s rapist, photographer Tom Baker (Don Harvey) resurfaced in PC last year and was ultimately killed by his brother, Seth (Michael Rodrick) shortly afterward.

  1. They should ask Sarah back to at least visit. The other Sarah(s?) was/werent as good. I remember one other, but there might have been another.
