Steve and Kayla in the Days of Our Lives spoilers.

The Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, August 9th, tease that Kayla and Steve have a big disagreement about the situation with their sons!

Like Mother/Father, Like Son

Because Joey (James Lastovic) is a Brady/Johnson, it makes sense that he would do anything to protect his mom. Those are loyal folk! Of course, Tripp (Lucas Adams) feels defensive of his mom, too. And so, the two have been butting heads, to say the least. Wednesday, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) go head to head about what to do about their sparring sons!

Confessing Kooky-ness

Meanwhile, another parent/child relationship experiences its own intriguing twist. Justin (Wally Kurth) makes a confession to Sonny (Freddie Smith). Will it be about the lovely lady they share in common–Adrienne (Judi Evans)?

Enough Already, Brady!

Also: Louise Sorel is set to return as Vivian Alamain.

In deranged-by-jealousy news, Brady (Eric Martsolf) continues his descent into mental territory that seems to us at Soap Cities that it can only end very badly. He gets a wrong idea about what’s going on between Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan). Oy, now what?!

Saionara, Statesville!

Did any of you Days fans also watch One Life to Live, the go-to prison on that daytime classic was called Statesville too! Love that overlap–a Ron Carlivati touch, perhaps, given that he was top scribe at OLTL at one time?

Before You Go: Days and Carlivati got a BIG boost from this bigwig!

Anyway, Hattie (Eileen Davidson) breaks Bonnie (Judi Evans) out of the big house! Lookout, Salem!
