It looks like Will deVry could be around to stay on Port Charles.

Don’t give up, dear Soap Cities readers! Will deVry said there’s lots of reason to hope he’ll be back as one of the kings of the Port Charles underworld.

Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way

In the past few weeks, Soap Cities has brought you news of a new rollercoaster in Soaptown. It’s called: “Will deVry’s Contract Negotiations.” The latest peak in that story is that the fan fave actor is still in active talks with the show to iron out a deal to remain in town, driving Sonny and Alexis crazy, according to our fabulous friends at the premier soap-related publication, Soap Opera Digest.

In an interview with SOD, deVry expressed great optimism about his eventual GH comeback, despite that fact that he hasn’t been on the set since June 30th.

“I just feel like it’s so close [to a positive resolution]that it can’t not happen, you know?” deVry said. He’s also not cleaning out his dressing room, which is a great sign.

And he doesn’t take all the back-and-forth negotiations personally–it’s business, the actor opined.

Love to Love Ya, Baby

deVry said he loves his job at GH. And most of all, he has felt so appreciated and supported by his fans.

“The support he’s received from fans, deVry says, ‘has been heartwarming. I just want to thank the fans for their support,'” reported SOD.

Awww. We do love ya’ Will!
