Tyler Christopher & Louise Sorel “Officially” Joining Days!
Tyler Christopher, best known for playing Prince Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital, and long time Days of Our Lives fan fave Louise Sorel were both spotted on the Days set today. They were in the make-up room today in a video posted on Twitter and later inexplicably deleted. Now we know why!!!!
The Proof is in the Pudding!
Thanks to Meredith, an eagle-eyed Twitter fan (@hcleyjames) and Jason47’s Day Website Group on Facebook, we are able to confirm both actors joining Days of Our Lives under new Co-Headwriter Ron Carlivati.

What We Know So Far
So what scoop do we have so far, dear readers?
Well, no word yet on whom Tyler will be playing on the show. He could be a recast EJ Dimera or the often-mentioned Alexander Kiriakis (Justin’s son with Anjelica Deveraux). Now that Christopher has been spotted on the set with our beloved Louise, could he be Vivian’s “Darling Niky” Alamain? You may recall Nicholas is Vivian’s nephew last seen and heard in 2011 when her trusty sidekick Ivan swept her off her feet to India to be a Bollywood actress. It certainly would be ironic for Tyler to play another character named “Nick” since he played a “Nik” on GH!

Are these returns anything other than ‘stunt casting?’ There has been a lot of that lately. We get all excited about an actor ‘joining’ a show, only to find out that it’s just for a 1-2 episode stint.
I’m not going to get excited until I know how long these people are sticking around!
