BREAKING: Robin Strasser Reports Louise Sorel Returning to Days as Vivian Alamain

Yes, Days fans it’s true! Vivian Alamain is headed back to Salem!

A little One Life to Live birdie named Robin Strasser announced on Twitter that Louise Sorel is returning to Days of Our Lives.

Strasser and Sorel are off-screen pals, perhaps from Sorel’s days as fabulous Judith Russell Sanders on OLTL, on which Strasser of course was (and we think will be again) the incomparable Dorian Lord. Or perhaps they simply have a bond that grew out of their both being seasoned actresses who’ve been in the soap industry for several decades, both with legions of fans and award nominations galore.

Sorel, as Days and OLTL fans, will remember that Sorel’s Vivian buried Carly Manning alive–and it was horrifying and funny at the same time. Not just any actress could pull that off.

Will Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera), her wacky sidekick, return with her?

We can’t wait to hear what antics Vivian will be have in store for the residents of Salem, as she returns from Bollywood.

Strasser tweeted the news about her pal’s return to Salem, and she gives no you-know-whats that it might have been a secret. She even tweeted about our tweet!

Honestly, what’s really the benefit of keeping something like this under wraps. It’ll mean skyrocketing ratings either way!

Granted, sometimes it IS fun to be surprised in the age of social media, when casting comings and goings don’t often remain a secret.
